Established in 2006SASE (Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers) is a national organization dedicated to helping STEM majors excel both academically and professionally, as well as positively impact the world around them. Rice University's chapter was established in 2014. We have monthly general meetings, typically revolving around professional workshops and guest speakers from industry. SASE also holds an annual National Conference as well as Regional Conference.

Our GoalSASE is dedicated to the advancement of scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential. In addition to professional development, SASE also encourages members to contribute to the enhancement of the communities in which they live.
